It is a hidden and separate society with its own rules, culture, and institutions, such as the Ministry of Magic and Diagon Alley. The magical world is connected to the non-magical world through various means, such as the Hogwarts Express and the International Statute of Secrecy, which regulates the interaction between the two worlds. This parallel world allows for the coexistence of magic and non-magic in the Harry Potter universe. **

It would also provide a sense of security and privacy. Plus, it would be so much fun to play pranks and pull off tricks while invisible! **
